Rumor has it Colorado State University is looking to re-vamp their athletics department. This was done as an experiment.
The basic idea was to take the horn that is so popular in the athletic department and allow it to become a bold mark. It also happens to be the same shape as the letter ‘c’.
I’m hoping to refine in my free time – still needs a lot of work.

2012 | New Year
With the ever changing landscape in design, I’ve learned there are areas where I think I know a lot. Areas that I do know a lot, and many areas that are unknown. This year I really have no goals other than to listen more. Also, I hope to read more since my folks got me a nook for Christmas.

As a part of my trip to Utrecht, I was immersed in a healthy amount of design. Even the house we were staying in had examples of Dutch design. On a bike ride I made a stop at theRietveld Schröder house with a friend and an in-law. I have no other pictures of the house, other than the exterior. The interior is completely closed to the public, and worth the visit if you’re near the area.
Recently I have re-vamped my identity to fit my name. It’s made from my initials to created a ‘branded’ mark. I focused on a clean, bold, and timeless tone; something that could be used in multiple mediums.
